I understand that. The release will be 15, with 16 being current. My 
point was that at this point in every release cycle the ports collection 
starts complaining about this. I don't use pkg except for locally 
compiled ports.

[router] /usr/ports/ftp/axel # make clean
pkg-static: Warning: Major OS version upgrade detected.  Running "pkg 
bootstrap -f" recommended
