You've still got spaces:
#firewall--ipfw
firewall_enable ="NO" # Bad line
firewall_script="/etc/rc.firewall"
firewall_type ="/root/ipfw.rules" # Bad line
firewall_quiet ="YES" # Bad line
log_in_vain ="YES"
firewall_logging_enable ="YES" # Bad line
icmp_drop_redirect ="YES" # Bad line
Take out the spaces before the '='
