I've been using IPF 3.4.20 on FreeBSD since 3.4.20 came out. I'm currently running two of my firewalls with IPF 3.4.20 on FreeBSD 4.4-RELEASE while four other FreeBSD firewalls with IPF 3.4.20 on FreeBSD-STABLE 18 days ago with 18 days of uptime. All of my firewalls use ipmon -s. Can you capture a core dump or break into kernel debug mode as the system panics? Are you logging to syslog or to a file? Is it possible that ipmon is exercising a flaw in your hardware, e.g. faulty memory?
