I'm not familiar with the Power Pack, so I don't know what it's supposed to
have in it. However, I have never had a problem with any of the FreeBSD
"normal" 4-CD sets.

However, I seem to recall an issue about the view.exe, setup.exe and
install.exe files being the property of Walnut Creek CDROM. The 4.2 Power
Pack was not a Walnut Creek release, but a BSDi release. I suspect that the
documentation didn't get updated as thoroughly as the CDs.

Slackware Linux had the same problem.

These files are *not* required to install FreeBSD. They are not a part of the
official FreeBSD release. The Handbook will give you all the installation
instruction you will need.

Don't be disillusioned over something so trivial. The Power Pack was
originally a Walnut Creek packaging, and not an official FreeBSD project.
FreeBSD had nothing to do with it.
