I'd like to also point out that this is the second machine to exhibit this problem. The other was a 386 running 1.1.5.1R. The only common hardware between the two machines is three USR sportster internal modems and one Supra. I kinda doubt the modems are causing the problem since I can reproduce it at will with certain man commands. I have some down time scheduled for this box soon... Warner
