I noticed correlated issu= es with the CPU temperature monitoring, but I think those were a red herring. = One thing I can say for sure: turning off hyperthreading made this take a LOT longer to happen. My best guess is that it's a race condition with locking,= so the more cores you have, the more likely you are to hit it.
