Firewire is cheap, but running it is so tricky on PeeCees, that you might want to buy a Mac. IMHO there is still no driver for such a beast. Nor any software. But you may use a cheap TV card, fxtv, convert the output to single images, edit the mpeg_encode parameter file. H.
