::I seem to recall that after installing jdk13 from ports that I can remove the
::linux-sun-jdk needed to bootstrap the compiler. Is this true, and is there
::any documentation on how to do port upgrades of jdk13 after the linux-sun-jdk
::is removed.

There was some discussion about it on this list, a while ago,
so you could search the archive for full details.

You can delete linux-sun-jdk after installing jdk13 from ports and
then use 'make NATIVE_BOOTSTRAP=true' when compiling jdk13 port
for self bootstrapping. Also when you are using portupgrade,
you could set "'java/jdk13' => 'NATIVE_BOOTSTRAP=1'" in
/usr/local/etc/pkgtools.conf to automate the upgrade.

Hope this helps,
  Haro
