Hello freebsd-questions,
I have a probelem with my IDE disk afther i installed a new GERNERIC
kernel. The root partition, placed on ata0, can not be found any more.
Jet all is ok, with the default kernel.GENERIC that comes with 4.5.
Any idees what the cause and how to fix this? Way does it not come up
with the kernel of Murray?

This is what i see with the new kernel afther reboot:

ata1 at port 0x170-0x177,0x379 orq 15 on isa0
this is what i miss:
ata0 at port 0x1f0-0x1f7,0x3f6 irq 14 on isa0
