Hmm. I've seen this when the memory size of my card was incorrectly
specified. In my case, I simply removed the line specifying the card's RAM
size and had XFree86 probe it.
I then discovered that my card had only half the memory that I thought it
had. :-(

good at words as radio is because the pictures
are a distraction which demand attention, and
it's not as good as cinema because the pictures
