True, but think of the oppertunities in portland.  You learn how to swim
real fast (with all the rain), you don't have a sales tax (just
humongously high property taxes), and if you're really cool, you get to go
watch the blazers loose 5 GAMES IN A ROW.

ahem.  sorry, off topic of this mailing list, uh, point is, there's alot
of unix-related jobs in portland too, good colleges (PSU is right downtown
with cheap yet elegant apartments nearby), friendly people, and NEVER does
it get over 80 degrees and rarely does it get below 35.
