https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=291806 --- Comment #24 from Mark Millard <marklmi26-fbsd@yahoo.com> --- (In reply to Graham Perrin from comment #23) See Comment #12 from the original submitter, Vick Khera. In particular: QUOTE Thanks for all the added context. . . . . . . I'm a little bit confused how the minimal kernel is part of the 14.3 amd64 release packages if the releng team is not including minimal kernel in its builds. Are the 14.3 pkgbase packages also built by others? This kind of information should be more visible because everything is hosted all at one place which makes them look official. END QUOTE The original submittal was based, in part, on problems identifying re@ vs. not types of official and also for experimental vs. not, including for specific files and base packages. It is not that easy to identify it all. I figured that spreading out the material in other places after this submittal's notes got started would not help as much for anyone referencing the bugzilla entry in the future (or now), however the submittal ends up classified. I also should note that re@ and/or bapt@ or others could well find me wrong in various respects. I'm not part of the freebsd project and if re@ or bapt (or many others that are actually involved for the types of issues at hand) indicate corrections to my notes, believe them instead of me. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.home | help
