The 'good' way to use virtusertable is to compile a new .cf file using
M4 configuration kit with a .mc file containing:

FEATURE(virtusertable)

See cf/README in sendmail distribution. There are a lot of useful
other features here (generics, mailertable, ...).

It means : optional :) . Sendmail will not complain if the database
file can not be loaded.
