hi guys,

hey i have mucked up my password list on a machine
from what i can gather from vipw ...
the root password is now about 3 times the length of
every other user on the system ...
i tried adding a user and the password is also
3 times longer than normal users.
I assume this must be some form of higher encryption
than normal.
is there any way to avoid having to re-enter every
password for every user ?
