I have no idea.  I doubt GCC/GAS has any P6-specific code, yet.  There
is a conditional store that would be a very useful optimization (helps
prevent pipeline stalls as opposed to conditional branch and store),
if you were building specifically for a P6.  See the Intel web site
for more info.
