Hmm... According to Intel's specs, the SC450NX uses the Symbios Logic 53C896 for two wide-ultra2 SCSI channels, and a 53C810AE for a single narrow channel. Have you tried the newer sym driver to see if it works with those? I'm curious, since I'm thinking of using that board for some servers as well.
