OK, That was a LONG time ago and to be honest I didn't take the time to configure it properly. I got too scared when nothing seemed to work and I went back to the syscons kernel. I didn't mean to touch sensitive fibers, in fact I'd like it if it were not a matter of choosing between pcvt and syscons, but rather sharing them. What I do think is that changing the default type to any other would cause pain for many users. cheers, Pedro. --- Hellmuth Michaelis <hm@kts.org> ha scritto: > > Please don't blame pcvt in case you are not able to > set it up properly. > > X runs fine and without any problems (even in cases > when syscons has > one of its quarterly hickups ..), nothing "blocks" > the console and > pine runs fine - as does any other program runing on > a properly > setup pcvt, termcap and TERM variable. > > hellmuth > -- > Hellmuth Michaelis Hamburg, Europe > hm@kts.org www.kts.org > There is a difference between an open mind and > a hole in the head. ______________________________________________________________________ Yahoo!
