Thanks for the tip. I copied it over from /usr/src/etc/rc.d still puzzled as to why it wasn't installed though. When I upgrade, it's make clean && make buildworld && make buildkernel && make installkernel && mergemaster -p then make installworld then mergemaster. -- J.
