hai, i'm using this very same RealTek 8029 PCI chipset and have this in my kernel config: device ed0 at isa? port 0x6100 net irq 11 iomem 0xd8000 vector edintr this is the irq, io of the realtek card. booting shows: ed2 <NE2000 PCI Ethernet (RealTek 8029)> rev 0 int a irq 11 on pci0:17:0 ed2: address xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx, type NE2000 (16 bit) and ifconfig ed2: ed2: flags=8843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 <stuff deleted> so it shows up as ed2, dunno if this helps but i though i should let you know. uname -r: 2.2.7-RELEASE -- laurens van alphen, craxx alphen@craxx.com, http://craxx.com To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-isp" in the body of the message
