well, on FreeBSD 4.8-RELEASE-p10 #4: Thu Sep 25 17:07:08 CEST 2003 I'm using this:
stl0: <EasyIO-PCI> port 0xb400-0xb47f,0xb000-0xb07f irq 7 at device 5.0 on pci3
stl0: EasyIO-PCI (driver version 2.0.0) unit=0 nrpanels=1 nrports=8
stl0: driver is using old-style compatibility shims
stl1: <EasyIO-PCI> port 0xbc00-0xbc7f,0xb800-0xb87f irq 9 at device 7.0 on pci3
stl1: EasyIO-PCI (driver version 2.0.0) unit=1 nrpanels=1 nrports=8
stl1: driver is using old-style compatibility shims
stl0@pci3:5:0: class=0x078000 card=0x0003124d chip=0x0003124d rev=0x01 hdr=0x00
vendor = 'Stallion Technologies Inc'
device = 'EasyIO PCI'
class = simple comms
stl1@pci3:7:0: class=0x078000 card=0x0002124d chip=0x0003124d rev=0x01 hdr=0x00
vendor = 'Stallion Technologies Inc'
device = 'EasyIO PCI'
class = simple comms
and it works like a charm. Ciscos and IBM pSeries consoles attached.
