It those are not one complete entry that's probably your problem. Each machine must have it's own FQDN in place. Sorry I wasn't clear on this point. All the entries are indeed FQDN entries. To use your terms, the machine is "foo.bar.com", and it handles mail for the "bar.com" domain.
