I've used scp to copy /usr/src and /usr/ports from the laptop to the new machine (ports is actually still running, but at about 500kb/s :). I've coppyied /usr/src/share/examples/cvsup/stable-supfile over, and have specified MASTER_SITE_BACKUP?=ftp://carroll.cac.psu.edu in /etc/make.conf Still, though, when I head to /usr/src and make update, nothing happens. I've done this so many times before. What am I forgetting? thanks hawk -- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
