Ok, here is the deal. There's a patch on http://people.freebsd.org/~dcs/ficl.patch. Also, trying the values 0/0 and 256/512 (for threshold/increase) might provide clues. Aside from that, it's a mystery to me. I'm backing out the change until I figure it out. -- Daniel C.
