The thing is that right now COMMENT for this category clearly states "Character code converters". While I tend to agree with lioux@ that `ta2as' belongs here, it still contradicts the COMMENT. I can also recall several cases of ports being by all means truly and merely converters were placed in some other category because of this very COMMENT. Methinks that we should really decide upon whether `converters' should contain only charcode converters, or its meaning (and thus the COMMENT) should be augmented. Otherwise we'll end up confusing lots of our dear users. ./danfe
