I had a very strange incident. Which troubles me. I did an ftp install of 4.2-20010306-STABLE, then used /stand/sysintall to install all the sources. sysinstall cored. But /etc/paswd, /etc/crontab and /etc/group have been overwritten. I'm sure other files have been overwritten as well. It's late, I can't think clearly. any clues waiting for me in the morning will be very helpful. -- Dan Langille pgpkey - finger dan@unixathome.org | http://unixathome.org/finger.php got any work?
