Well there is also LyX, which uses LAtex. It is more advanced than XWord, which is the hungry guys unproduct. XWord Also requires guile, which is really big. That kinda blows. I thought i saw a little rtf wp on sunsite, i will go take a peek and get back to you all... Currently, i think the only reasonable choice would be LyX, because it seems mighty silly to be doing freebsd docs with a com product that is not free.
