Hmmm... I use a Diamond Viper 550 pci w 16 megs o/ram with Xfree 4.0. The Riva TNT driver works like a charm. The driver worked with FBSD 4.0 and is still working with 5.0-current. I could see if you upgraded your box, chose the xfree option, and now have to reconfigure Xfree. Why not do /stand/sysinstall and do a post-install configure of xfree and see if you can get the XF86 driver to work correctly? I find this easier then xf86config. ----- Original Message ----- From: "James" <jkelty@digital-impact.com> To: <freebsd-questions@freebsd.org> Sent: Thursday, July 20, 2000 12:22 PM Subject: Riviatnt and X server on BSD 4.0?? > It seems that the XF86_SVGA is broken on FreeBSD 4.0.
