Generally xdvi is installed, and there are lots of dvi->misc > converters which do a better job than the dvi->PS->misc conversion. Either would actually be fine by me. Make it a new DOC_TARGET_TYPE variable or something and maintain max flexibility - the user could set their desired `output' format in make.conf. Jordan
