I answered myself (https://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=50085): s14% VBoxManage modifyvm test --vrdeproperty VNCPassword=1234 and now it works with '1234' password I should look for some document that specifies all the VRDE properties -- Marek Salwerowicz
