I am using mpd to do dial-in PPP. It works GREAT except when I disconnect, the server does not drop the connection. When I redial it just rings. Here is a snippet of mpd. Starts to close, says waiting for ring... but continues as if it is still open. [usr] device: DOWN event in state CLOSING [usr] device is now in state DOWN [usr] link: DOWN event [usr] LCP: Down event [usr] LCP: state change Stopped --> Starting [usr] LCP: phase shift ESTABLISH --> DEAD [usr] LCP: LayerStart [usr] device: OPEN event in state DOWN [usr] pausing 7 seconds before open [usr] device is now in state DOWN [usr] device: OPEN event in state DOWN [usr] device is now in state DOWN [dialin] closing link "usr"... [usr] link: CLOSE event [usr] LCP: Close event [usr] LCP: state change Starting --> Initial [usr] LCP: LayerFinish [usr] device: CLOSE event in state DOWN [usr] device is now in state DOWN mpd: empty auth name [usr] chat: Waiting for ring... [dialin] opening link "usr"... [usr] link: OPEN event [usr] LCP: Open event [usr] LCP: state change Initial --> Starting [usr] LCP: LayerStart [usr] device: OPEN event in state DOWN [usr] pausing 3 seconds before open [usr] device is now in state DOWN Thank you for any help.
