ISA is a big piece of software, with a lot of features that can be disabled/enabled or tweaked differently from site to site. It could just be acting as a dumb proxy, but it may also require things like NTLM auth for web traffic or access to specific resources, etc. What specific problems are you encountering? (This would probably be more relevant to -questions than -net.) Your local Windoze guru should be able to help...
