Just to inject the tiniest smidgen of content into this thread, I'll
just note again that there are also the SDL sync cards; that I'm
evaluating the SDL WANic (PCI bus card with 2 sync ports that will do
well over T-1 speeds); that they look pretty good to me so far; and
that I'll report back when I've learned more.
