what about faulty RAM ? did you test the RAM-memory ?

do the logfiles show signal 11 messages ?

have you tried booting without APIC ? (in ubuntu try "noapic nolapic" as
kernel-parameters)

and are you using the xorg-nv-driver or the closed-source nvidia-one ?

what about irq-conflicts ? try taking out every other card except the
videocard and see what happens
