You may launch wdm (and near any program you can launch from init gettys) with the script using this in /etc/rc.conf: xdm_program="/urs/X11R6/bin/wdm" xdm_enable="YES" You only lost the special 'config test before launch' that you have for gdm/kdm/xdm. <snip/> -- josemi
