[-- Attachment #1 --] Is it possible to use the HP OffiJet 700 series printer/scanner/fax with FreeBSD, other than just as a plain text printer? Since the intelligence of an OfficeJet resides in some MS-Windows software, I guess that a specific drive should be made to use the full functionality with a BSD machine. Has anyone ever written such a driver, and is it avaliable. It would be the next step towards abandoning Microsoft altogether.
