Hello,
We have the following configuration :
|
| Internet connection
|
|
| NIC
------------------------
| Router and firewall |
| (FreeBSD box) |
------------------------
| NIC | NIC | NIC
| | |
| | |
------------------------
| Switch |
------------------------
| | | | |
| | | | |
| | | | |
Several FreeBSD servers
Everything works ok but the drawback is that if the FreeBSD router has
for instance a hardware problem, all the servers become unreachable.
So, is there a way to have two redundant routers to avoid this
drawback ? Or there is no solution except to have one spare freebsd
box already configured and ready to replace the main router ?
Thank you.
Stephane Legrand.
