Can you try it without the DA_Q_NO_6_BYTE, then. For example:
{
/* MINOLTA DIMAGE 2330 */
{T_DIRECT, SIP_MEDIA_REMOVABLE, "MINOLTA", "DIMAGE 2330*","*"},
/*quirks*/ DA_Q_NO_SYNC_CACHE
},
