Things may work ok in an 11g-only BSS but I'm not sure if the slot time and 
preamble settings are even done right with the code presently in the system.  
Things will certainly fail completely if the BSS changes operational 
parameters; e.g. when an 11b station joins.

There is only support for "static turbo" mode and that is 11a only.  Your 
dmesg output only show b/g rates.
