Hello I've a 2.2.8 box that I'm using as a packet filtering bridge between two ethernet segments. The bridging part works great, right up until I set net.link.ether.bridge_ipfw=1. Then, regardless of the rules I have set, the firewall discards any arp requests coming from either interface. Unicast packets still go through fine per the rules set with ipfw. Does anyone have an idea as to what I'm missing here? TIA Grant Hartline To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
