https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=289731 Harald Eilertsen <haraldei@FreeBSD.org> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |haraldei@FreeBSD.org --- Comment #3 from Harald Eilertsen <haraldei@FreeBSD.org> --- (In reply to Christian Ullrich from comment #2) I'm aware of it, and am working on changing the way we bootstrap these builds. I'll make sure everything can be bootstrapped before anything is removed. The plan is to remove the need for the bootstrap-ports entirely, by keeping around builds of the versions needed. These will be downloaded and extracted to the work directory during build, so that it can be used by the jdk build process, but don't need to be installed on the system. I also plan to provide these for all versions, so there should no longer be a need to install several jdks just to build the one you want. I hope to have most of this in place during next week, and at the very latest well in time before the deprecated ports expire. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.help
