Hi,
I have just got round to trying a program I was developing on JDK 1.1.5
and Swing 1.0.2 under 1.1.6 and Swing 1.0.2 and I have encountered a
problem with the JTable:
1.1.5:
Click on an editable cell, start typing, text appears, hit return to end
editing
and move to next cell
1.1.6
Click on editable cell, start typing. First character appears ok, any
following
characters appear twice, e.g. -T-i-m- appears as -T-ii-mm- and hitting
return
makes a circle symbol appear (like an 'o' but slightly smaller). You have
to
use mouse clicks to change focus.
Nothing else has changed; I can flip between 1.1.5 and 1.1.6 by changing a
symbolic link on my system, and they share a common SWING_HOME.
Has anyone else encountered this problem?
Tim
P.S. Thanks for all the good work on the Java port guys, I hope Sun see the
light soon,
and perhaps we should prod the good people at IBM to make Jikes available
for
FreeBSD; it runs on Linux with their libc or glibc.
