Hello.... My name is Steve, and I am new to FreeBSD. I am attempting to install FreeBSD 3.2-RELEASE on a HP OmniBook 5000CT laptop. It is a P90 with 16MB ram. It has a 777MB Hard Drive, and although it has a CD-rom interface, I don't have one. I have a cable modem, but I cannot set up the laptop to use it (so i am suck with installing via floppy disc.) The reason is because the desktop system is a real mess atm. The problem is that there really are no real directions on how to install via floppy. I followed the directions, and formatted a bunch of floppies, and copied all the files a few at a time, with the *.inf on the first disk of each respective "directory" however, when I attempt to install, it says it cannot find the packages/directories, and kicks me out of th install, of which I was using novice. I don't know what other information to give, if you want more, please ask, and I will do my best to provide it. If you could point me in the right direction I would be most appreciative.
