Am sorry this didn't work - I hope the above trace is useful, as you can se=

did it on a clean build of 11.2 RELEASE. I won't have time to look at anyth=
ing
more until after the weekend I suspect (family & kids).

What I can try next week is to create a machine form one of your images, and
then upgrade it to 11.2 from sources and see if that works, to eliminate any
possibilities of this being affected by my ZFS environment and the fact I l=
oad
those modules at boot too. Thanks for your attention to this so far - I rea=
lly
would like to get it working, but I also need ZFS.
