This is a followup to my message about trying to find out why buildworld on smp systems, with -j 8 invoked, fails. I have it narrowed down to the new usr.sbin/amd stuff. I think, more specifically, it has to do with libamu, but I'm not sure yet. The -j 8 build is making something called amd.tmp.c, while the ordinary (non -j) build doesn't seem to be doing that. It's in the build of that, that the libamu directory gets called as if it was an executeable. ----------------------------+----------------------------------------------- Chuck Robey | Interests include any kind of voice or data chuckr@glue.umd.edu | communications topic, C programming, and Unix. 213 Lakeside Drive Apt T-1 | Greenbelt, MD 20770 | I run Journey2 and picnic (FreeBSD-current) (301) 220-2114 | and jaunt (NetBSD). ----------------------------+----------------------------------------------- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-current" in the body of the message
