[-- Attachment #1 --] Diane Bruce has arranged with Kai Staats of Terrasoft Solutions that if we can get ten pre-orders for Teron CX motherboards from Terrasoft, he will arrange for Terrasoft Solutions to donate a free motherboard, which I will try and get them to ship to Yahoo! to be put in the cluster as a reference machine along the lines of beast (alpha), panther (sparc64) and pluto1 (ia64). Myself and Diane are happy to buy boards, which means we need to line up another 8 pre-orders. It's my understanding that the boards cost US$495 each and include a 600MHz IBM 750CXe CPU. Is anyone interested? I'll be asking -current in the next few days if I don't get enough responses from here.
