I am not particularly after SIMOS, and I left them in NOTES/LINT
and sys/conf.  This file on the other hand is never updated so
I tired of seeing it fail in make universe.

I'm not enough of an alpha-person to know if the SIMOS bits themselves have
any magic properties we want to keep.
