Hi,

Make this be the "Device" section of /etc/X11/XF86Config:

Section "Device"
        Option "UseBIOS" "off"
        Option "NoDDC"
        Identifier  "Card0"
        Driver      "siliconmotion"
        ChipSet     "LynxEM+"
        Card        "siliconmotion LynxEM+"
EndSection

Seems to work fine for me.  I'm using a Thinkpad 240x (2609-61U flavor).

My complete XF86Config file is below.  Good luck.
