There have been efforts in the past to port FreeBSD to other
architectures: powerpc, mips, 68k, alpha, sparc, sparc64, arm, and
maybe a few others I don't recall off the top of my head.  Only the
Alpha port reached crticial mass and was integrated into the tree.
