I built a debug kernel based on -r337400 and
booted it. The witness notice:

acquiring blockable sleep lock with spinlock or critical section held

did *not* occur.

As for non-debug builds, I've not seen the boot problems
since comment #6 about -r324207. But mostly that has been
from back then and then my -r337400 update process and
testing, with little or no changes in the middle.

So the -r324207 sys/arm64/arm64/mp_machdep.c fix seems to
have worked and booting seems reliable.

Probably enough to close this report. But I'm not
sure for sys/arm64/arm64/identcpu.c since it
has not been updated but no known observed
difference exists for its alternatives. I'll leave
that judgment to you. If you want a separate bugzilla
for sys/arm64/arm64/identcpu.c , let me know.
