https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=222234 --- Comment #10 from Mark Millard <marklmi26-fbsd@yahoo.com> --- (In reply to Emmanuel Vadot from comment #8) I built a debug kernel based on -r337400 and booted it. The witness notice: acquiring blockable sleep lock with spinlock or critical section held did *not* occur. As for non-debug builds, I've not seen the boot problems since comment #6 about -r324207. But mostly that has been from back then and then my -r337400 update process and testing, with little or no changes in the middle. So the -r324207 sys/arm64/arm64/mp_machdep.c fix seems to have worked and booting seems reliable. Probably enough to close this report. But I'm not sure for sys/arm64/arm64/identcpu.c since it has not been updated but no known observed difference exists for its alternatives. I'll leave that judgment to you. If you want a separate bugzilla for sys/arm64/arm64/identcpu.c , let me know. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
