I wrote here because I didn't see activity, so I'm glad that this should be fixed now. I will test in a few days and let you updated. As for reproducing the crash, I discovered the problem like so: if in wpa_gui I press repeatedly the connect button the kernel consistently panics. Same for wpa_cli.
